Project Summary
Southampton Place is a coworking space for small companies and individual workers in London. This is a test brief I created for them back in 2020.
Branding
It was at a very early stage when I first started working on this project. At that time, there was no branding and only a few interior images were available. I decided to take an abstract and artsy approach to the project. Since it's going to be a co-working area, it is best to keep the branding simple, so that other companies can easily fit in.
Design
I used the negative shapes from the characters in the word 'Southampton Place' to form the main shape of the brand. These shapes are abstract but playful, and they serve as a reminder of Alexander Calder's work.
