Project Summary
The brief was to create a 10-second social ad with no dialogue for a local beer brewery named Howling Hops. I chose the animation approach because I think the brand itself has a fun and analog identity, so a funky hand-drawn ad will suit its branding.
Illustration
All the elements were illustrated using the Procreate app with an iPad. It was a really fun challenge because it gave me the opportunity to draw again.
Animation
After gathering all the elements (illustrations), I animated them in After Effects, mainly using the anchor point tool. The ad is only 10 seconds long, so it didn't take much time.
